The Celtic Ceilidh Collective is a collective of experienced Ceilidh Musicians and Callers available for your wedding, event, barn dance or party!

We met (and still meet) at the various folk festivals and pub folk sessions across the UK (and beyond) where we share our love of traditional celtic folk music. Music that originated in the house dances of Ireland, the ceilidhs of Scotland or the rural barns of Wales and Cornwall.

We bring the driving fiddles, bouncing squeezeboxes and rhythmic guitars to your wedding, party, barn dance or get-together for a memorable evening that’s guaranteed to get your guests dancing – and talking about your party for weeks, months and years to come.

Our lineups include some of the best, most experienced ceilidh musicians in the country who have played at festivals and on stages around the world.

We can bring our DJ too! Our experienced Pro-DJ has performed in some of the biggest clubs and venues and festivals in the UK. Add on a disco for afraction of the cost of booking seperately!

Award Winning DJ

Our highly experienced award winning DJ and disco add-on can seamlessly transition your event from ceilidh to disco at a fraction of the cost of two suppliers and with less admin for you!

Lighting Add-On

As well as our high specification professional PA sound system, we can provide additional performance lighting to add ambience and atmosphere to your event.

Reception Music

We can provide a traditional folk session backing to your wedding reception or event. The addition of unamplified tunes in the bar played by musicians from the band adds great atmosphere to your event and gets your guests excited for the ceilidh to follow!

Flexible Band Size

Our core five piece band can be scaled down to a three piece for certain smaller events or scaled upto eight musicans or more for a really exciting and dynamic sound!

How Much Does a Ceilidh Cost?

The cost of booking a ceilidh band will depend on a number of factors including the number of musicians, the date, the performance time and travel distance. Generally speaking you should expect to budget between £750 for a compact lineup to around £1500 if you are opting for our full lineup with disco add-on and lighting package in peak season. Fridays in February are always going to be cheaper than a Saturday in June when demand is the highest.
